Tommy was a local boy who frequently helped The Butcher out in his shop. He gave evidence at the trial, even though he was terrified of the courts and everything that represented authority - that's how motivated he was to speak up for Archie Cooper. 

The connection is tenuous, though, so we won't have long before it drops out. Be a good listener! Let them talk. We need all the information they can give us!
